If you would like to play Curious As A Cat, feel free to join us! I'm sure we would all love to hear your answers.
1) What three things do you value most about your religion or spiritual practices?
This is a tough one for me. I'm not as religious as I used to be. Well let me rephrase that. I'm still religious, just not the way my mom thinks I should be. I don't agree with my mom's church all the time. (She's Church of God) I still have my beliefs, but I think what I value most is the ability to determine for myself what I think is right and wrong. I believe a lot of the things I was taught during my childhood are radical or extreme, and I'm happy to be able to practice my beliefs the way I see them.
2) Is there a way that you feel inferior to other people generally? Why do you think this is?
Not really. We're each individual people who are equal. We all came from the same place, and our lives all end. I have nothing to feel inferior about.
3) Where is your favorite mall? Why?
I honestly don't have a favorite mall. I loathe shopping, and I will stay away from malls as much as possible. I guess you could say the internet is my favorite mall! I can get everything in one place without even leaving my comfortable recliner.
4) For whom have you had the most sympathy or pity?
Lately it's been for my best friend. She finally found a way out of an abusive relationship this weekend, and he's done nothing but try to ruin her ever since. He pressed false charges against her, called child services, and called her employer making false accusations trying to cause her to lose her child and her job. Luckily no one believed him, the charges were dropped, and he's the one who will be sitting back in jail for violation of his bond agreement for CDV assault with a deadly weapon, but my best friend has had to first deal with the abuse for months, and now she's spent all day with investigators and the judge just to get him out of her life.
5) Show and Tell. What comes to mind first when you see this picture? Or, tell a story if it reminds you of one.
This photo reminds me that last week I had fires roaring in my wood stove, but this week I'm not going to have to build a single one. It's friggin' 78 degrees outside right now! What is wrong with the weather? My Florida friends are telling me their freezing while here in SC it's almost 80 degrees!

Thanks for stopping by. I too love the Internet for shopping. What did we do before it? Probably shop less! :-)
