Full Bloom Tea

*EDIT*
This is the account of my personal experience with Full Bloom Tea. I have had many people complain to me about the service of this etailer, and I've also done my own research. A lot of people seem to have problems with them, so buy at your own risk!

As you can see this post was written September 19, 2007. It seems as if this company may have seriously gone downhill since my order!

I'm sitting here sipping some wonderful tea right now. What's amazing is that it came from a beautiful flower. Okay, the tea isn't from the flower itself, but it did brew from a clump of flowers infused with tea. It's a flowering tea from Full Bloom Tea. I ordered the samples on September 5, and they arrived on September 17. I'm not sure if that was Full Bloom Tea's issue or if it was a problem with USPS. It might have taken a couple weeks, but it was worth the wait!

The tea I'm drinking right now is the "Let Love Bloom" tea. I forgot to take a picture before I began brewing this one, but this Silver Needle White Tea started out as a heart shaped hand tied Artisan "bulb", and bloomed into a gorgeous bouquet of Globe Amaranth, Marigold, and Jasmine. The taste is a nice earthy, but light and semi-sweet taste. I love white teas. It's said that the caffeine content is slightly higher than green teas, but Silver Needle White Tea is the highest grade of White Tea available, and it's a mild, not overpowering, taste.

These teas normally cost $3 per bloom, or less if bought in bulk, but it's well worth it. Each tea can be steeped again for up to 3 full pots of tea. White tea can be served hot or iced which is an added bonus. I steeped this tea 2 days ago for a cup of hot tea, then I placed the flower in a jar of water in the fridge and let it cold brew. It's a slow process, but I can pour iced tea from it, or I can reheat a cupful for a cup of hot tea. As I've poured a cup I've added more water to the jar, and the flavor is still as strong as it was with the first brew.

If you would like to try this tea for yourself, you can order samples for $2 each. It's well worth ordering samples to try because you receive a $2 discount off your next order for each sample you order. There are 3 sample teas available, and I will be saving $6 on my next order. The $2 per sample includes shipping! Samples are available in "Let Love Bloom", "Star Bloom", and "Good Fortune Bloom".

I placed an order with them months ago and never received my order. They do not respond to phone queries nor do they answer emails. I have done some research and have discovered that this is not an isolated incident. In one hour online, I have found dozens of unhappy customers. Most are those who paid and never received their orders. Many have filed complaints with the BBB. Beware of www.fullbloomtea.com!

Thank you for your comment. I will be looking to see what other complaints I can find. I personally had no problems with my order other than the fact that shipping was a little slower than I expected.

I ordered from them almost 2 months ago, and I STILL have not received my order. My cc was charged right away, of course, and after the first e-mail I sent to them because I ordered a tea card to be sent to someone else and was not given a space to enter their address (when the guy claimed they e-mailed me already and that I must have done something wrong like deleted it), i have not heard from them. I have emailed them like 6 times now, and I called their offices twice. No answer, nothing. Very bad business, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME.

I also never received my order, and "customer service" will not respond. I have filed a complaint with the BBB, and it appears they have the lowest possible rating (an F): "We strongly question the company’s reliability for reasons such as that they have failed to respond to complaints, their advertising is grossly misleading, they are not in compliance with the law’s licensing or registration requirements, their complaints contain especially serious allegations, or the company’s industry is known for its fraudulent business practices."

Basically, it's a scam/fraud.

I've also ordered from them and not received anything. I thought it was an isolated incident until I read the comments here!

This company is a scam and I would never order from them again. I placed an order and never received the product. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this company.

The owner of full bloom tea was battling a raging cancer and died of recent... That is why the orders went unanswered..

I'm sorry for the family's loss, but if the owner was battling cancer and not able to keep up with their business it should have been but on hold instead of accepting money from customers for so long. People have had their money taken without receiving the product for over 2 years now.

I hate to say it, but the illness is not an excuse. The business should have been closed or someone else should have been appointed to handle it if that is the case. Innocent customers should not have lost their hard earned money because the owner couldn't respond to orders. The owner had no problem accepting their money!

I TOO made an order in 2007 and even joined "a bloom club 3mth and 6mth plan" - one of myself - one as a gift and after numerous emails to them - never received a response or my order :-( so they pocketed my $168
