Are we ready for the future? Are the children of today correctly being taught in their schools how to deal with the shifts that are happening in the world around us? What kind of changes are taking place? What will the world be like in the future?
Here's an interesting presentation called "Did You Know" that gives you a lot of insight into what is going on. The original version of this presentation was developed for a Colorado high school staff of 150 people in August 2006 to get them thinking about what schools need to do to make sure children are going to be successful in the 21st century. This video has since been updated with more recent statistics and has been seen around the world. A website has been set up where you can join the discussion at http://shifthappens.wikispaces.com.
