Here lately I've noticed the more opportunities I have to watch tv the less I actually watch. That's partly because we have DVR, so I know I can watch my favorite shows when I'm in the mood instead of when they're actually on. The other big part of it is I'm tired of the commercials that take advantage of the sick and elderly.
For example you've got the mesothelioma commercials that really drive me crazy. Diseases like this are no joke, but you've got all these heartless lawyers doing anything to make a buck off these innocent people who could really use the cash they could gain from the class action lawsuits...if the lawyers didn't take it all. Sure the lawyers are making it seem like they really want to stick it to the companies who caused the people to suffer, but the reality is they just want to make as much cash as they can, and they don't care how much of a cut the sick people will actually get. Most of the innocent people will be lucky if they can afford a burger after the lawsuit much less pay off their hospital bills.
Don't get me wrong, sometimes there are lawyers and class action suites out there actually trying to help the people who deserve it because they actually care, but most of these loser lawyers on tv make me sick. If i were looking to enter anything class action I'd totally ask a million questions about the lawyers, and I definitely wouldn't be teaming up with anyone running commercials over and over trying to take advantage of my situation. It disgusts me.
Ok I'm done ranting. I just had to get that out.
Back Pains
Right now I'm really wishing I had a sleep number bed because I can almost bet you my back wouldn't feel half as crappy as it does right now. I swear it feels like Hubby decided to sleep with his knee dug into the center of my lower back all night.
I woke up late this morning around 10am, and I popped a couple Tylenol since that's really one of the only things I can take right now. Of course the Tylenol never kicked in, and after moving around for a few hours my lower back is on fire. I'm being a whiny brat about it just because Hubby isn't home today to massage it. He ended up having to work through the holiday. I'll whine a little more when he gets home, and maybe I will end up with a nice back massage!

Wondering
Wondering why none of the Utters I've sent from my phone show up anymore. Definitely going to have to check into that.

What Smells So Good?
I know I've raved many many times about how much I love Things That Make Scents. I would order from the site all the time if I could afford to, but I do normally put in a large order when I can save up the cash to do so. I lucked up last month and grabbed myself a $5 off discount for filling out a survey, so I definitely took advantage of it and did some shopping.
I didn't place a super large order this time. I just picked up a couple soy tart cups in Clothesline and Bamboo Garden and a 7oz Soy Jar Candle in Green Tea & Cucumber. I had planned to stop there, but then I spotted the super adorable Soy Cupcake Candles. Not only did they look so yummy I wanted to reach through the screen to eat one, but they were on sale! Of course I wasn't turning that down, so I ordered one in one of my favorite alcoholic scents, Bailey's Irish Cream. The way I see it is just because I'm pregnant and can't enjoy any Bailey's doesn't mean I can't enjoy the scent flowing through my kitchen!
I received my order right before we left for vacation, and I immediately placed the Bailey's cupcake on a shelf in my kitchen. Hubby came home wanting to know what I was baking that smelled so good. Seriously, it smells amazing. If these were real cupcakes I'd totally be reading Fenphedra reviews and going on a diet from eating so many!
Oh, and these are no small cupcakes, and I think they are well worth $4.99 each. I've paid way more than that for cupcakes much smaller with no where near as much of a cold scent throw. Here's a comparison of the cupcake candle next to the 7 oz jar candle I ordered.
So the next time you're looking for a really cute candle with awesome scent choices and a really great scent throw remember these cupcakes from Things That Make Scents. I definitely wasn't disappointed, and I'll be ordering quite a few of these suckers as birthday gifts.

Waste Of Time
If I thought this past week was hectic then I don't know how I'm going to handle the coming week. It's starting off bright and early this morning with a trip to the Medicaid office. We don't qualify for Medicaid, but my doctor requires that we sign up anyway just in case our situation changes. I guess since we're cash customers she wants assurance that she's getting paid if something happens to one of our jobs.
I think it's a waste of time right now since we know we don't qualify, and I'd rather have my teeth pulled or spend all day reading junk emails for HGH product. I've got to stand in line for only God knows how many hours this morning along with a ton of other people who don't qualify. To me all these people are taking valuable time away from the people who really do need the help, and I don't want to be one of those people.
Oh well, it's looking like if I want to continue to use the only female doc in the area I'll be standing there for hours anyway. Then I have to come home and kick my butt in gear since I haven't even begun packing clothes for our trip to D.C., and we're leaving Wednesday night.
