Surveys For Cash Or Rewards

I would like some advice from any of you who participate in online surveys to earn cash, points, or rewards. I've been a member of Harris Poll for a few years now, and I love it. I can't tell you how many wonderful things I've gotten including speakers for my business computer, a toaster, tools for hubby, etc, just for taking the surveys.

I've signed up for a few other survey companies since then, but none of them interest me really because most of the time the other companies will let me get half way through a 20 minute survey then decide I don't qualify. I've just waisted 10 minutes filling out a survey I won't get credit for.

A few weeks ago I was discussing this with a friend, and she suggested I sign up for Opinion Outpost. She said she thought I'd enjoy filling out those surveys, and I would have a good many come my way. You earn points that can be converted to cash, so I thought what the heck I'll give it a try.

I spent almost an hour filling out the initial surveys about me and my lifestyle. I didn't get rewarded for any of those...I think there were close to 10 of them...because they were there to determine what other surveys I might be eligible for. Well I finally started receiving surveys last week.

So far I've had 6 surveys sent to me, and all but one of them I've been disqualified after the first page. That means I'm being disqualified based on my gender, race, income, education, or similar. So, why did I spend all that time filling out those other surveys about me? If those initial surveys were supposed to determine what I'm eligible for, then I should have been disqualified from these surveys before they were sent to me.

The final survey I received, I spent about 5 minutes filling out questionnaires before the real survey started. Then about another 5 minutes into the survey I was disqualified because I don't own my home. Yet again that's something I had to specify on those initial surveys.

I guess what I'm wanting to know is if anyone participates in online surveys, which companies have you signed up with, and what has been your experience? I'm almost ready to give up all together on survey sites, but if someone can honestly point me in the direction of a good one I'll be willing to sign up. If you can give me reasons why it's a great site I'll even use your affiliate link.

Three Things March 28th

If you want to play along visit the That's My Answer! site for tons of questions to answer!

What are three things that are on your desk that shouldn’t be?

Haha! Only three things? Wow there's so much junk on my desk that I can't even see my desk. I'll just pick out the three things closest to me.

1. Keys to my Saturn. Too bad my Saturn has been out of service since Feb 07!

2. Dinner. Yep I ate my Arby's Market Fresh sandwhich at my desk, and I haven't moved to put the rest in the fridge yet.

3. Bubba's harness. I took it off him when I brought him back inside, but like I said I haven't moved from my chair long enough to place it on it's hook in the utility room.

I'm off to try an acne treatment sample I have here (also sitting on my desk), so maybe I'll pick up some of this junk on my way to the bathroom.

The question:

Flowers. Do you like flowers? When is the last time you received flowers? When is the last time you sent someone flowers? Do you think purchasing flowers is a waste of money? Do you garden? What is your favorite flower?

The answer:

Yes I like flowers, but normally I prefer not to give or receive flowers. Even though flowers are beautiful, I don't like them as presents for the simple fact that they don't last. The last time I received flowers was last year for Valentine's day. My mom bought my sister and I both a dozen carnations and a red rose.

Gardening is something I'd love to do, but I definitely don't have a green thumb. I mean I'm the girl who killed 3 aloe plants because I didn't realize they don't need water every day! I definitely didn't inherit my farmer dad's green thumb. I do have flowers all around me though. My grandma loves to garden, and her flowers span from her house to mine and all in between. When I want fresh flowers I just walk outside to cut a few instead of spending money on any.

My absolute favorite flower is the iris. Lillies are right behind. I have gorgeous orange and pink tiger lillies right outside my bedroom window.

Making A Shopping List

While we're out having dinner and seeing a movie tomorrow, I'm going to take the time to stop by a couple of the outlet stores in Anderson. If we're driving all that way for a movie I might as well take advantage of it.

I really need to buy some new shorts for hubby. Right now his work attire consists of insulated jeans since he's been working outside all winter in snow and ice. He's got 2 pair of work jeans that he wears on warm days, but he came home tonight with the butt ripped out of his "best" work pair. Yeah he needs some new work duds.

I need to stop by the pet supply store to pick up a bulk size bag of Feline Pine. There's only one store in our area that sells it, and that's Walmart. I'd rather not buy anything from Walmart if I can help it, so I'll pick up the bulk size bag, and I might look for a new cat condo, too. Alley already has one, but the scratching post part of it is in shambles. It's time for an upgrade.

Of course I have to make a stop at Target, too. I can't go to Anderson without stopping there to buy something.

The Date Is Set

I found out hubby will be going on his trip to Florida April 9th-12th. I would love to be able to go with him, but that happens to be the weekend I already have plans to go to Tennessee. That's good and bad. The good part of it is I had already made plans with my cousin to house sit so someone would be here with Bubba. That means I won't have to search for someone else to take care of the animals.

The bad news is I really wanted to go to Florida, but I've already made my non refundable reservations for a cabin. Even though The Crossroads of Time at Deal's Gap opened a couple weeks ago, that's the weekend of the big Deal's Gap opening season party, and I really want to go this year. Hubby and I had planned to go with a few of our friends, but it looks like I'll be going there while Hubby's in Florida.

It's going to be weird because Hubby and I have never spent that much time apart. Honestly I can't remember a night we've been apart since we moved in together 6 years ago. There have been plenty of times we've got into an argument and I threatened to stay at my mom's or grandparent's, but I always ended up coming home after I had a chance to cool down.

So I'll be here Wednesday and Thursday night by myself, and I'll be leaving out Friday. Hubby will be coming home Saturday, and even though he says he's going to ride on up to the Gap to meet up with us, I think he'll be way too tired to do it. If he doesn't make it up there, I'll finally see him when I get home Sunday.

Oh but the other good news is this is just his first trip to Florida to work on the house. The couple is already making a list of things they want done, so he'll be going down there at least a couple more times this year. It's a contracted job, too, so the money is going to be great. I might even be able to pay cash for my 250 instead of saving up for a good down payment.

Hubby's Going To Florida

Hubby's boss just called to tell us he has an opportunity for hubby to make A LOT of money. One of the clients they just finished building a summer home for is asking specifically for hubby and my father in law to do some work around their regular home in Lakeland, Florida. They've got a ton of upgrades they want to do, and they were very pleased with the specialty work hubby and my FIL did in the new home. The couple have moved into their new vacation home until they can get the Lakeland repairs completed.

The couple is offering to fly hubby and FIL down to Lakeland to spend about 2 weeks doing the work on their home. The couple will be spending the time in their new vacation home, so not only are they willing to pay a nice chunk of change to pull them away from the current job their finishing up with their crew, but they're willing to give them the home to use kind of as a vacation while working on it. That's super awesome because hubby's aunt lives in Lakeland, and I know my father in law hasn't seen her in over a year.

I've met this couple, and they're one of the sweetest couples I've ever met. She's cooked dinner for us 4 times and refused any excuses about why we couldn't eat with them. She's also made lasagna and sent it home with hubby twice.

They know what kind of work I do, and they know when it comes to my home business I can take time off whenever I want, so they offered to fly me to Florida with hubby and FIL! I would absolutely love to go, but we've got two furballs here that couldn't go with us, so I'd have to find out what to do with them. If I can find someone to keep them for a couple weeks I'd be happy to go!

I know hubby is definitely going to take this offer no matter what. That just means I need to work on getting things together for him. We've got luggage, but not a lot. None of our luggage has any type of tags since we never fly. I'll have to pick up some tsa locks to keep stuff secure. I've got to find out with all the new regulations what he can and can't take with him on the plane. Man this is going to be a lot of stuff to do!

Startup Schwag #6 (First For Me)

I know I've been slack on my reviews this week, but I'm waiting for a few products to ship to me. I did receive my first t-shirt from Startup Schwag. If you haven't heard about Startup Schwag it's a great opportunity for those of you who (like me) like to learn about new startup companies and receive products promoting them.

It's not free. A monthly subscription is $14.95/month plus s&h, but for someone like me it's well worth it. Each month you'll get 1 t-shirt with the logo of a startup company a long with a few stickers and sometimes other schwag from other companies. You can click here to see the stickers that were included in this month's schwag bag. The stickers were for SocialThing!, Dawdle, Formspring (which I will definitely be using), New China Career, and TradeVibes.

The t-shirt is a Ustream.tv t-shirt. Ustream.tv is a video broadcast website that allows anyone with a camera to set up their own global broadcast. There's no size limit to your audience, and you can set yup your stream in less than 2 minutes. You can create a channel on Ustream or you can broadcast through your own website.

I love the shirt. It's bright yellow, and I love bright colors.

I'll take a better photo when I'm thinking about it. I just snapped this one real quick. I've cared more about wearing it than actually taking photos of it. I've already worn it twice since receiving it a couple weeks ago, and it'll go into my favorite shirts drawer. It's one of those shirts that makes people stop to ask me "what's that?" I love stuff like that! My friends all call it my "geek wear", but hey whateva! I love my geek wear! My friends care more about stuff like wine clubs. I'm perfectly happy with a "schwag club", and if that makes me geeky, right on!

The Joys of Music

My little cousin has spent most of the evening with me, and it's so nice having her here. Not only is she really helpful around the house, but the child keeps me entertained by running around singing. It's been awhile since I've heard her sing. I think the last time was maybe 5 years ago when she was about 10 years old and I went to a Christmas play where she sang during intermission.

The child almost needs talent management because she's got such a beautiful voice. She gets it from her dad. He sings like an angel, and he turned down a record deal with a Christian music label because that's just not his thing. He didn't want to be off singing and recording music when he preferred being in the pulpit as the preacher.

Now my cousin is actually considering music as a career. She doesn't want to be out there singing on stage somewhere though. She wants to be a music teacher, and I think it's such as fitting career for her. It's been so wonderful hearing her sing today.

Automating Technorati Favorites

Here's something for all you bloggers who have Technorati Favorites. Why not give back to those who favorite you by making them a favorite, too. Technorati Favorite Your Fans is a program that will automatically favorite anyone who has favorited you. If someone has favorited you more than once, it will only favorite them once cutting down on the clutter. You also have the option of removing blogs you don't want to favorite, such as spam blogs. It's a great way to see who is adding you as a favorite.

It's easy to use, but more advanced users also have the option of setting up the program with Windows Scheduler using the dos command line.

Note this is NOT a wordpress plugin. It is a program that you will use on your computer.

Running Behind On Reviews

I've got a few things to review, but I'm running really behind on writing my reviews. Part of that is because my camera is giving me problems. I bought my new camera in December, and I'm already having problems with the battery.

The battery will hold a charge for about 2 hours tops. I don't over charge it. I purposely drain the battery before charging it again, but it's kind of hard not to when it will only hold the charge for 2 hours...that's when it's not in use! I think they sent me a bunk battery! I'm going to contact Kodak about my warranty, but I have a feeling they're going to want me to send the whole camera in. That isn't happening. I did find some great prices on the battery it uses on buy.com, so I might just pick up a couple extras.

Other than the camera issue, I've just had a lot going on lately. Hubby and I are both on a get healthy kick. His is for health reasons. Mine is just because I'm lazy all winter, and I want to get up and go once it starts to warm up.

My new goal is to exercise at least an hour a day. I warm up by walking to my aunt's house and up her long driveway. She has a ton of exercise equipment in her basement, so she's made her own mini home gym. I'll work out for a bit, then I cool down on the walk back home. It's a good cycle, and even though I've only done it for a few days now, I feel better already!

Theme Fragrance: The New Love of My Life

Sorry hubby, but I'm in love. No, I'm not leaving you. You'll have to learn to live cohesively amongst one another, but I promise you don't have to worry. My new love won't take up much room. My new love comes in a 4.6ml roll on bottle and fits in my purse!

I'm talking about Theme Fragrance's wonderful little perfume roll ons. If you're looking for a new fragrance to make your head spin and your heart thump, these little guys are just what you need.

At $9.75 a pop they're a great deal. The scent lasts forever...and yes I mean forever. I almost didn't want to take a shower because I didn't want to wash off the wonderful smell! No worries. I showered and reapplied!

Elizabeth Morrison hand pours each one of her creations, and boy does this woman know what a girl wants! The scents not only last forever, but they make your senses go wild. Once applied you won't even realize you put anything on except for the wonderful smell. There's no messy stickiness, sliminess or goo to deal with. Just roll on and enjoy!

I know you're dieing to know exactly what these guys smell like, so let's get on with it!

Bikini- This fruity blend contains citrus, but I honestly couldn't smell it. All the wonderful fruit notes jump out at you making this a great smell. You're sure to pick up the flower notes as well, but the sweetness makes this scent so yummy I almost want to eat it! It really made my tastebuds go crazy, and it reminded me of candy necklaces I used to wear as a little girl.

Lotus Lake- This is a wonderful floral scent. It's light and airy like all of the other scents, and it reminds me of water. I pick out a hint of sandalwood which gives it a slight earthy smell as well. This one also contains fresh tea notes.

Sarong- Coconut! I don't know how she does it, but that's exactly what I smell. I feel like I'm walking down the beach barefoot. This one reminds me of tanning oil, but not the ones that smell really strong. This is a great light scent. I'm anti-vanilla, but this scent may have just changed my mind! The vanilla is very light, but it's just enough to mix with the floral notes for a lovely combination. I can see why this scent is a best seller!

Seashell- I smell grapefruit! Normally I would probably be turned off by the smell of grapefruit, but not in this little bottle! It's a wonderful citrus scent without having the scents that normally make me want to dump it down the toilet like lemongrass. This is the perfect scent for anyone who wants a citrus scent without it being overpowering. It also contains ylang which brings out the sexy side of the fragrance.

Love Letter *Limited Edition*- I hate one thing about this fragrance...that it's a limited edition! It smells so good! This is a fresh and clean fragrance, feminine and sexy. I love it! This scent will definitely remind you of spring and relaxing by the pool with a drink in your hand. This little bottle is full of roses! Now that I think about it, it makes me feel like I'm sleeping on a soft bed of rose pedals.

No matter which scent you decide is your favorite, it's definitely worth it to grab yourself a sample of all of these fragrances. You can get a sample pack of all of them for $5, and the samples are really nice sized vials that will last you awhile. A little goes a long way with this stuff, so throw away those expensive $50 bottles of perfume and find yourself a cheap and long lasting new favorite! I promise you won't be disappointed.

Can't Stop Smelling Myself!

A preview of what's to come...

Stay tuned because you're really going to love this one! I'm already hooked!

Losing My Mind

AuisBOdsjasdiBsCurcuminSsadfjaiO!

You say wtf?

Yeah that's how my mind is thinking right now. Everything is all jumbled up. I've got 3 projects I really need to finish, and I can't concentrate on any of them. I really do think my brain has taken an off week. First it was the fact that I forgot I had both a wedding and baby shower to go to this weekend. Then I forgot my Grandma's birthday party, and now I'm forgetting the simple things.

I swear I've washed the same load of laundry FOUR TIMES because I keep forgetting to put the clothes in the dryer. I forgot time was changing last night, and I forgot hubby has to work today. I almost forgot to feed the dog last night, but thankfully hubby took care of it. I need to take the dog out to pee, but I'll have to go with him. The way my mind has been I'm afraid if I put him in the fence I'll forget about him!

Blog Talkers #63

The question:

What is the most extravagant single item purchase you have ever made, other than a house or car? Why did you purchase that item? Did you regret it later?

This one is kind of hard for me to answer because I don't buy a lot of extravagant things. I've always been the frugal shopper and more often than not I don't buy something I really want just because I can't see shelling out large amounts of cash.

I would have to say the biggest purchase I've made is my motorcycle. I know it's a vehicle, but it's not a car...it's a recreational "toy", so I think it counts. Hubby and I had talked about getting a bike because of gas prices, but we always jokingly talked about it. We walked into the dealership one day just to look around and came out with a bike. I've been riding motorcycles since before I could drive, so it was something I really wanted, but just didn't want to spend my money on. I ended up doing it anyway, and I don't regret a bit of it. It's my sanity.

Breguet

Have you ever heard a word that looked or sounded so weird you felt compelled to look it up to find out what it is? That kind of happened to me today.

The word is Breguet. When I saw it my first thought was is that some kind of bread I don't know about?

Hubby laughed at me because he knew the Breguet series is a beautiful line of watches. When I looked up the watches I have to admit they are absolutely gorgeous watches. I had never heard of them because I don't wear a watch and they're a luxury line. I'm a lefty, so you would automatically assume I would wear my watch on my right arm. I can't do that though because it feels weird. If I were rich I would probably buy one of these watches anyway (especially the one with moons and stars) just because they're so pretty.

Gift Shopping

I was planning to put my shopping on hold for awhile since I have a ton of stuff around here that I still need to review, but it looks like I've got no choice but to buy some stuff this weekend. I've got a wedding and baby shower to attend tomorrow then a birthday party on Sunday. Yep, I haven't bought a single present yet.

On top of that I've got to get a new Linksys router. My latest router went kaput a few days ago, and I've only had it for two months. It's under warranty, but the cost to ship it to the manufacturer and the wait time before I get it back isn't worth taking advantage of it. I'll just have to grab a new one tomorrow while I'm out shopping.

A Big Surprise!

A little over a month ago I told you about some soap I ordered from Hibiscus City Soap Co. I had received a few samples in one of my sample boxes, and I loved them! I headed to the site to order more Orange Spice natural soap, but they were sold out at the time. Instead I decided to try the Lavender Oatmeal natural soap.

I'm still using the Lavender Oatmeal everyday, and I threaten to break fingers if hubby touches because I love the way it makes my skin feel. I planned to purchase a few more things in the future when I have a little more "bath & body cash" to spend, but today I found a nice surprise in my mailbox!

The owner of Hibiscus City Soap Co. saw my post and sent me a little thank you gift! I found a bar of Orange Spice moisturizing natural soap waiting for me!

Thank you Jesse! She emailed me to say she would be sending me a little surprise, but this is a big surprise! The orange spice is still out of stock on the website!

Even Bubba loves it!

I was trying my best to snap a picture of the soap, and all he wanted to do was eat it! I guess he thinks it smells that good, too!

I'm sending out a big thank you to Hibiscus City Soap Co. from Bubba and me! You definitely have a very satisfied customer who will be returning many many times in the future!

Like I said before this soap lasts. I've had the Lavender Oatmeal bar for a little over a month now, I use it almost everyday, and I still have over 1/2 a bar left. For $3.75 for a 3.5oz bar is a deal!

Another dNeero Survey Down

I finally took the time to complete another dNeero survey today. I really need to remember to login and take those! This one is about something I try to keep out of my blogs, my thoughts on the Presidential election. If you want to see my answers you're more than welcome to view the survey, but I refuse to get into a political discussion on any of my blogs.

All About You

When I discovered That's My Answer on Tuesday I've found myself looking at the site more and more to see what questions are being asked. I like to make myself think, and I guess that's why I like memes and quizzes so much. Most of the questions I've just sat down and thought about what my answer would be, but I'm sharing these.

What are you good at?

I would like to think I'm good at blogging, but I know I'm good at most computer related tasks. I'm pretty good at multi-tasking although I could do a lot better. I'm really good at analyzing situations and finding a solution to the problem.

What are you not so good at?

Staying on task. I said I could multi-task, but I didn't say I'd keep on the task at hand. I'll be doing 10 things at once and realize I totally forgot to do the most important thing. My mind tends to wander to something else.

Be honest, how long do leftovers last in your house?

Not long at all. When you've got a hubby like mine, everything gets eaten pretty quickly.

Do you understand gigabytes and all that computer language mumbo jumbo?

Oh yeah. You throw a computer question at me, and I'll be able to answer it or figure out an answer in a matter of minutes. Computers are a hobby that I turned into a business. Ask me about typical housewife stuff like how to get out a certain stain or what temperature to bake a ham and I'm clueless.

If you were a dog, would you want a really long tail, or a short stumpy tail?

I'd be a bulldog with a short stumpy tail. That way I could be just like my bulldog, Bubba, spending most of my days sitting in a chair looking out the window...when I wasn't sleeping of course.

Stress Relief & Improved Circulation Through Gentle Practice

I promised you some awesome product reviews, and that time has come! What could be so awesome that it had me like a kid on Christmas Eve waiting for it to arrive?

My very first yoga dvd!

Okay I know you might be thinking I've lost my mind, but the truth is I've been interested in Yoga for a long time. I've just never had the motivation to actually try it. Of course I could buy all the Yoga mats in the world, but I still wouldn't know what to do.

That's where this video, Yoga: Gentle Practice, comes in. This is the ultimate video for beginners. It's got 6 routines, 3 1/2 hours of practice, and 23 pose lessons.

The pose lessons are awesome. The DVD walks you through each pose showing you positioning, what not to do with each pose, what benefits each pose gives you, and variations of each pose to try.

The instructor, Zyrka Landwijt, even shows you how to adapt certain poses for health problems that might prevent you from completing the full pose.

The main reason I wanted to try the yoga dvd is because yoga helps build strength and improve circulation while relieving stress through relaxation. I may only be 26, but I have horrible circulation in my legs.

If I sit in one position for more than 10 minutes at a time my legs fall asleep. I toss and turn all night because my legs fall asleep. I have now completed one of the routines twice, and I think this is really going to benefit me.

If you're one of those people who would like to try yoga, but you've been scared away by all the images on TV of people twisting into weird knots, standing on their heads, and balancing in really painful looking ways, check out this DVD instead. As a beginner's practice it really is easy, and you're not twisting and bending yourself in ways the body was never meant to move!

Some Cool Stuff Coming Up

I'm excited about some of the stuff I've got for you guys this week. I've got a couple really cool reviews. I'm not going to tell you what exactly I have to review, but I will tell you both items are smaller than an Emily crib and bigger than a cell phone! I know that really doesn't tell you much does it? LoL that's kind of the point! Trust me both items are really cool though, and I'll try to get the first review up tomorrow.

Also, there's a new contest in the works. I haven't ran one in awhile, so I figured it was about time to show some appreciation to my readers. Details will be posted soon!

Stay tuned!

That's My Answer

Here's a fun little meme. Every Tuesday day (thanks for letting me know Melly!) you can find a question on That's My Answer. Just give an honest answer to the question! How hard can that be?

This week's question:

Who cleans your house? Who do you wish cleaned your house?

For the most part I clean my own house, but of course I have to admit I don't clean nearly as much as I should. After all, a clean house is a sign of a broken computer, right?

Who do I wish cleaned my house? Oh that one's easy! I'd love to hire Channing Tatum for the job, and he'd have to clean all day naked! :-p Oh I know. Leave it to me to want to watch a hot naked man cleaning all day!

Naked Naturals Shampoo

I received a sample in the mail a couple days ago, and I have to admit I almost forgot about it. It's a sample of naked naturals shampoo and conditioner, and I set it aside to use later this week. I forgot about it because I don't wash my hair everyday. I fully believe it's only best to wash your hair every 2 to 3 days depending on the type of hair you have.

I headed into the bathroom tonight to take a shower, and that's when I realized hubby had used all of my shampoo. After screaming until he heard me in the shower, I sent him into my office to grab the sample. My hair is short enough now that I only have to use a small amount of shampoo, so I've got enough of the sample left for at least 2 more shampoos. After 1 shampoo though I love the way it made my hair feel. My hair feels soft, and it smells wonderful. The shampoo and conditioner are both Awapuhi & Lavender. I love the smell of Lavender!

The way this shampoo and conditioner made my hair smell and feel is just one great feature. You all know how I love using all natural products, and Naked Naturals is a natural shampoo. It doesn't contain any chemicals like DEA, lauryl/ laureth sulfates, or TEA, and clinical studies prove it can make your hair up to 7x stronger. That's something I'd definitely like to see. My hair is thick and healthy, but it does break a lot easier than I would like.

I may just have to pick up a bottle of this shampoo to see how strong it does make my hair. The sample came with a $1 off coupon for any Naked Naturals product, so I think I'll try the Citrus & Keratin Shampoo and Conditioner that is made for fortifying your hair. I love the smell of the Awapuhi & Lavender, but it's the color-treated formula, and I haven't colored my hair in over 10 years. I think the fortifying formula will be better for me.

Terranova® Petal Soft Lotion

I've got a little lotion sitting here that I've been meaning to tell you about forever now. It's a sample my sister in law stuffed into a bag of stuff she gave me for Christmas, and when I sit down to go through my items I still have to review I always seem to miss it. That's because it's never actually in my box o' stuff. It's almost always in my purse, on my desk, on the bathroom sink, or somewhere else where I'll find it.

The lotion is Terranova® Petal Soft Lotion in Gardenia scent.

Here's Terranovabody.com's description of the Petal Soft Lotion.
This luxurious hand and body lotion is infused with anti-oxidants green tea and vitamin E, plus beautifying hibiscus and peony.

And this is what they have to say about the scent.

The majestic Gardenia, fragrant queen of tropical flowers, celebrates feminine grace, joy and beauty. The allure of paradise.

I have always loved the wonderful smell of Gardenia, and this lotion reminds me of a candle I had for ages when I was a teenager. That candle sat on my dresser for a couple years because it gave off such a strong fragrance for so long. The cold throw was amazing, and I never burned the candle. I have no idea what happened to it, but I haven't seen it since I moved out of my mom's house over 5 years ago.

This lotion smells just as great as that candle did, and the scent is strong but not overpowering. Hubby doesn't normally like it when I wear anything with a very flower-like scent, but he loves this lotion. The scent is so real you can close your eyes and picture yourself sitting in a flower garden surrounded by Gardenias.

As for the lotion itself it's got a nice feel to it. I can use a very small amount, and it's enough for both hands. My hands feel silky and smooth, and my sensitive skin hasn't given me any problems. The lotion doesn't feel sticky or chalky like a lot of other lotions I've tried, and this one is definitely a keeper for me.

My little bottle is almost empty, so I checked out the Terranova®website to see if they sell it online. You can't buy it directly from their website, but they do provide a list of e-tailers along with which product lines can be found at each website.

I found the Gardenia Body Petal Soft Lotion 8.25oz bottle for $15.00 on Amazon. You can also find all of the other Terranova® products on Amazon as well.

A Blog For You To Peep

If you're looking for a new blog to read stop by My Cornerstone Trio. I wanted to mention the blog because the author, Anna, is a very good friend of mine. She's a beautiful person inside and out, and this really shows through on her blog. Although she only began blogging a short time ago, she's already developing quite the fan base because her writing is genuine and really great. Stop by and show her some love. I'm sure she would really love to hear what you have to say about her writings!
