I am so addicted to Master Of Defense, a game I downloaded a few days ago from Game Giveaway Of The Day. If you haven't heard about Game Giveaway of The Day, it's a wonderful site that offers one free fully licensed game each day for download. I wonder over there everyday just to see what's up for grabs. Sometimes I don't like the offer and pass on by, but other days I'll see something that catches my eye for some reason. Master Of Defense was one of those eye catching games. It looked like something my husband might like to play, so I downloaded it.
Now when you download the free game, the catch is you have to install it before the 24 hour giveaway period ends in order to get your free license. So, I always go ahead and install the game as soon as I get it, then I grab my license code, save it in a folder with the install, archive the folder, and uninstall the game. Most of the time I'll take a few minutes before installation to check the game out, and then I'll decide to re-install it later when I have time to play it, or I'll put it into my folder of things others might want to play.
I installed Master of Defense, grabbed my code, waited for the game to load, and decided since I had a few extra minutes I would go ahead and play around to see what it was about. I'm not much into shooting, fighting, killing zombies and monsters and all that, but I tried it out anyway. Boy was that the wrong thing to do! I spent 2 hours playing before I even realized how much time had passed! You can't grab the full game for free anymore, but you can download a trial version if you want to check it out!
